A while back (2023), I took a wide-field shot of LDN 1228 and was intrigued by an orange patch in the smaller of the two nebulas in the center. With a longer focal length, I decided to capture several hours of it, because that patch, which refuses to be covered up, is a YSO (Young Stellar Object), a star still contracting to ignite and enter the main sequence phase: RNO 129.
