M 51 The Whirlpool Galaxy

The Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) is a celestial object composed of two distinct galaxies. M51 is located approximately 31 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Canis Venatici, and its diameter ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 light-years.
