Fine Ring Nebula (Shapley1, RCW100, ESO 225-2)
By Rodrigo Maeda
The Fine Ring Nebula is a planetary nebula located approximately 4,900 light-years away in the southern constellation of Norma. It's an incredible object to capture, small but bright enough to excite you from the first few frames. There were 272 frames of 180 seconds each, over five nights here in my backyard at Bortle 5.
