This galaxy is in a region that I particularly like, the Centaurus constellation. Some of the most well-known objects are located in this region. It is also known as Caldwell83 and has a relatively chaotic structure, it is not the kind of galaxy image that automatically comes to mind. For this photo, 190 frames of 300 seconds each were taken, totaling 15h50min, accumulated over 6 nights of capture in May.
