M83 - Southern Pinwheel Galaxy
By Rodrigo Maeda
This was my third capture of this amazing object, this time I used 1624mm as focal lenght with my RC8. During 4 nights I collected 100 subframes of 300sec each to compose this image. The galaxy M83, also known as the Southern Pinwheel Galaxy or NGC 5236, is a barred spiral galaxy located in the direction of the constellation Hydra. I hope you liked it!
